EagleBurgmann’s newly developed double Cartex® GSDN gas seal is the ideal solution for centrifugal pump applications at chemical plants and refineries. Users can install bi-directional gas-lubricated Cartex® GSDN seals to standardize their new pumps or to recondition existing pumps which have conventional stuffing box packings or liquid-lubricated mechanical seals.

Our low profile single spring rubber bellow seal utilizes a friction drive accomplished through the interference fit between the collar, rubber bellows and the shaft. With this arrangement, the driving torque is not transmitted through the coil spring.
The EagleBurgmann Splitex fully split semi-cartridge seal is design is for ease of use in tough applications such as water, sewage, oil and many other media. Splitex seals are fully split semi-cartridge designs factory preassembled into 2 stationary halves and 2 rotating halves. They are balanced, process pressurized seals with a flush connection, externally mounted stationary springs protected from the product and cyclical fatigue,

The bellow is not subjected to any torsional stress and its ingenious design incorporates several functions, as seal face carrier, secondary sealing element and drive collar. The seal face is driven through the spring and “L” rings. There are no bonded joints and the face materials are interchangeable without having to modify any dimensions.
